Discussion regarding reminder about homework and tests during concert nights. 2. Students concerned that other students are receiving phone communication (texts) from parents during class time. Suggestion that the school post signs to “Remove your Hat and Turn off Cell Phones” should be posted at exterior doors. Suggestion that cell phone policy be placed on PTA website, and a reminder that there is a land line for student use during the day. 3. Supply List-discussion regarding the Supply List for 09-2010 will be on-line as a PTA fundraisers. Encore suggested supply list will go out with schedules in August.
January 2009 1. Suggestion for Jackets for Supervisors for evening events as parents were concerned that teachers could be hit by cars as they direct traffic. 2. Locker Room Bathroom- a request to police the bathrooms 3. Home Base Activity- go to lost and found to look through materials for lost items
December 1, 2008
The Site Base Team met on December 1, 2008. A review of old business took place and an overview of the 2007-2008 goals which were discussed or met. New meeting dates were established and a contact sheet was established. Charges to the team were given. Discussion involved: 1. SMARTBoards- are they secure and are mobile boards secure 2. Back To School Night- the Univents and computer systems buzz in some of the rooms 3. Temperature in the Music Room was very cold. (Rectified by Maintenance) 4. Dismissal at evening events. Could Supervisors wear Reflective tape, pinnies or jackets similar to the high school as parents were concerned for the faculty safety. 5. New Topics of concern will be brought to the table Adjourned-Next meeting January 5
