Important Safety Information
The Garden City Police Department has recommended that the flag pole circle be restricted to one lane of traffic.

Therefore parents must refrain from parking on both sides of the circle at dismissal time. Cones will be placed in areas that should be left unoccupied by motor vehicles. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our children safe.

Bus Circle
For safety reasons, only buses are allowed to use the Stewart Avenue Circle from 8:00 to 8:30 am and 3:00 to 3:30 pm. Cars CANNOT use this circle at these times. Please use one of the alternate drop-off points.

Railroad Tracks are Dangerous!
Parents, please speak with your children about the importance of avoiding train tracks! Also, please ask your children to tell you if they witness dangerous conduct so you can report this to the Garden City Police Department.

Students should NOT cross Cherry Valley Avenue when the Garden City Police Department crossing guard is not present.
When there is no crossing guard, parents are free to use all three of the school’s circles for pickups. Of course, parents may cross Cherry Valley Avenue WITH their own children at any time. The school’s Cherry Valley Avenue Traffic Circle is only closed when there is a crossing guard present at the regular school-day and sports dismissals.
